Julia's going away party!

The first lady of Puny, Julia Vickerman, moved to Los Angeles today. We threw her an bodacious bash last Friday in order to see her off right! Please enjoy it in visual form.

Yui prepares as only he can.

We set up a California backdrop so we could take farewell photographs to old JV.

The finest young animators in Minneapolis came out to show their support.

Rogue Taxidermist and PropMaster Scott Bibus and Puny's own Tim Sievert. The two fs.

Julia's wonderful friend Tracy.

Everybody likes Julia.

We got a pinata of Julia. See the resemblance?

Tim was bestowed with the honor of destroying it.

Local reporter and model Mary O'Regan and Cory danced as well.

Bye Julia, we miss you!

Nice Find!

I discovered several machine plates this weekend while cleaning out the garage. How they arrived currently eludes me but they are really pretty. They are etched out of 1/8 steel with black paint and have real substance to them. I love the way the design in a very matter of fact way says Sterlinger Makes Machines. Anyone in Warren, Michigan who knows about the company is encouraged to fill us in on the current condition of Sterlinger. I called the number on the plate but it was disconnected. An official Puny "No Prize" is waiting for you.

A double Art Show Weekend! (part 1)

Friday night was the opening of
WANTED: Posters and Printed Matter by Aesthetic Apparatus, Onefoot & Kingmini
at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts
It runs through May 20 so be sure to check it out.

Puny friend Donn Ha and local wonder-girl Kelly Krantz marvel at the work of King Mini.

A crowd around the work of Keegan Wenkman. It was very awesome stuff, I apologize for the lack of any detailed shots. Just more reason to go see them yourself I guess.Aesthetic Apparatus occupied a large area with work that continues to amaze.
