Here's our interactive installation that we demo'ed at Flashbelt. We're going to design and build these kinds of things for tradeshows, retail, and for webcams on sites and have a big application for kids this fall. Enjoy

The Title Design characters were drawn on paper then scanned into Flash where they were inked and colored with a $99 Wacom Graphire tablet. The eyes blink in this early version because those eye assets were taken from already animated characters.


These are the quick gesture drawings to get an understanding of how the characters will move and to get approval before a lot of work goes into full animation.

Creating and programming a games is a fairly organic process, and for whatever reasons sometimes things don't make it. Here are some obsticles (sped up) that aren't in the final game.

THIS IS THE COOLEST. Kids are recording their Class of 3000 FunkBox games and making music videos for Youtube. They're also using it to make music to put behind other fan vids.

While everyone was off at Flashbelt this week I finished up a poster for "Gastro Non Grata" an event non event at the 331 Club in NorthEast tomorrow night. The event is a rare chance to hear some of Minneapolis top chefs discuss the state of dinning in Minneapolis. I'm not sure what to expect but it is sure to be the sleeper event of the weekend. Enjoy.

Flashbelt was incredible this year and I've posted some pictures in this Flickr Photo Set I'll be adding descriptions and more photos over the next week.

Curtis and I. Printing on these big boxes killed my back, I'll be sitting tomorrow.


This is what we made. We'll have a wall of puny logo boxes that we're going to project and interactive piece onto. When people walk by, they can play with our wall.


The cat is going to miss cat-maze.


We tooks the screens to make a few one-off t-shirts. This screen didn't wash out right but the shirts turned out to be pretty cool.
