We've gotten way behind on showing work on this here blog. There is a ton of stuff that we've been doing and I'll try to catch up over the next few days.

Here's a sneak peek at the latest short we did. It's for comedian Katt Williams and the first in a series of comedy animations for a comedy web portal. We'll give you more information when it's posted...or not...my Mom might not like the language. This is from the same internal team that brought you Akon Calls T-Pain. Mike storyboard, layouts, and directing with Will produce/co-directing, Mitch character design, Amanda animation, Otha and Vincent backgrounds, and Ashley composite/fx.







It turned out great and has a classic saturated cartoony vibe but it still PUNY designy-weird-whatever we are.

OH, and this we should not show but I love it too much for it to sit on our server unappreciated. For our next short, the client...a famous hip hop artist who's agents had us sign a contract that says we can't ride on his coat tails by saying we're working on something with them...wanted something really different looking. Curtis is knocking it out of the park with these David Stone Martin inspired backgrounds! It's this great?
