PUNY

A few weeks ago PUNY was asked to be the kick-off speaker for the Design Madison design series.  Shad and Dave whipped up a presentation on….everything. Then Jeremy, Danielle, and Halley took a five our road trip from Minneapolis, MN to Madison, WI for support and fun.  The talk was great, a lot of Q&A and general enthusiasm, even after an hour and forty minutes.  The organizers of the event were incredible hosts and took us out to an amazing French restaurant where we way-underestimated Wisconsin portion sizes and felt like dying afterward.  Then we meandered back and took in the sites.  Central Wisconsin is amazing but seasonal so we had to skip a bunch of stuff but got to hit two at the top of our list.  Dr. Evermore’s Forevertron junk sculpture and Circus World, once home to Ringling Bros Circus and now a Circus library, museum, and enormous collection of old circus wagons.  We had lunch in the Dells and finished at a family fun center in Eau Claire, WI that Shad helped design pre-PUNY (and has rides and pizza for life.)
