Last night was the” Choo Choo Bob Show” production kick-off party. It was a lot of fun to be on set with the lights on, green screen glowing, and kids running around. It’s exciting to see any production happening in Minneapolis and all of the locals who come out to chip in. Gabba has opened the door for us to do a lot of kid’s shows but we end up turning most of them down. Bob is kind of special, a regional purity that’s sweet and a bit tongue in cheek at times. These guys worked on Prince music videos and sold “Let’s Bowl” to Comedy Central and have been in the Minneapolis production community for years. They’re all family-like.
Right after Gabba Season 4 we’re going to work on some Choo Choo Bob weirdo segments and we’re excited about it. Naturally, it’ll all start with a Hobo….
